Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana
Arusha Coffee Lodge by Elewana. There are not many high-end hotels in or near Arusha. The Arusha Coffee Lodge is the best of them all. This place keeps up high standards of quality and service because Elewana owns and runs it. The fact that it is on a real coffee plantation gives your stay a different feel and air. Most people only stay in Arusha for one night, but some people stay for two. If you want to save some money, Onsea House or Machweo Retreat are our first choices. If they are both booked, Rivertrees is the next best thing.
What You Need to Know About the Arusha Coffee Lodge
There is a coffee farm west of Arusha that is home to this coffee lodge. The plantation is medium-sized and has been there for a while. The place is on the edge of town, so it still feels like you’re in the country and like you’re staying on a real coffee plantation.
The main room looks like clay because it has a lot of red brick, a dark wooden bar area, and floors that look old. The dining area of the diner is very large and airy, and the food is delicious. There is a fireplace in the middle, and the bar is set back from the kitchen. The gardens are very big and have lots of garden tables and benches. Each one has a big umbrella for shade during the day, and there is a small play area for kids.
The rooms are made of red brick and have a traditional plantation farm feel, almost like a hut. Their rooms are big, and one side of them has decks that go all the way around. Each one has a huge, modern bathroom, as well as big cabinets and armchairs made of wicker.
It’s easy to spend a few nights here if you need to as part of a plan to see the nearby areas. The lodge has all the amenities of a normal safari lodge.
The front desk can set up all kinds of activities, like trips to Arusha National Park, tours of villages and museums, lunches on farms, and trips to the market. It’s a great place to start a tour in Tanzania.
A usual trip through Northern Tanzania would begin in Arusha and then spend a couple of nights in the Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater floor has a beautiful background, and there are a lot of animals there, like lions and hyenas. It’s also very rewarding to learn about the culture of the nearby Masai tribes by visiting them. The Serengeti is the place to go from here. The wildebeest’s Great Migration is arguably the most amazing wildlife show in the world. The open fields and acacia forests are some of the most beautiful places in Africa to see wildlife and take pictures. If you want to see the “Big 5,” see cattle crossing a river, or try to find a serval, the Serengeti has it all.
