Singita Explore | Tanzania

Singita Explore | Tanzania. Singita Explore is the most luxurious “mobile” camping camp in Tanzania. It is located in the Singita Grumeti Reserve, which is west of the Serengeti. From two to six tents can be set up, but the camp is always set up just for one person. During the Migration in May and June, this might be the best tent camp to see the huge groups of animals moving through this part of the Serengeti.
The Truth About Singita Explore

Singita is known for being the ultimate in luxury in Africa. The food, guides, and service are all great, but the camp is much more basic and is meant to give you a real under-the-tent Tanzania safari experience.

There are actually two Explore camps, one at each of five spots in the 350,000-acre private reserve. This means that the only people you see are Singita Guests. It is up to the Explore manager to decide where to move the Camps so that guests can see the most wildlife possible for the season. The camp can be booked by itself or with Sasakwa, Sabora, and Faru Faru, which are the parent hotels. Planned flights from Arusha on small planes are the best way to get to the area.

The tents are basic, but they are finished to a high level with real Tanzanian safari canvas furniture. The staff will set up the right number of tents for your group size. People eat in the mess hall or outside by the campfire.

Singita’s main activity is game drives in open-air cars, but they can also set up walking safaris, night game drives, and horse safaris. As a Singita product, they will basically do anything to make sure you get to do exactly what you want to do. For an exciting honeymoon in Tanzania, this is a great choice.

In Northern Tanzania, a usual trip would start with a flight to the Ngorogoro Crater and then continue to the Serengeti. The Crater is very well known, but it can get crowded, and people can get tired of all the people. Pick the Serengeti if you can spend more nights there instead of the Crater. Because Singita has a private grant, it is easy to connect to another camp in the National Park.

The movement happens all year long. From November to March, it stays on the Ndutu Plains in the southern part of the park. From March to June, it moves north and west. In July, the herds move to the Kogatende area, which is where you can see some of the most famous river crossings. To make the most of your trip, if you want to see the herds but don’t want to go to the Singita concession at that time, you can combine Singita Explorer with a migration camp (maybe Singita Mara?) that is close to where the migration is happening.

A couple of hours away, there are some great places to go to the beach after an exciting tour at Singita. After a safari, there’s nothing better than having a cool drink on the beach, whether you’re on the island of Mnemba or in one of Zanizbar’s high-end hotels.

There are many hotels on the island of Zanzibar, but you should be picky about where you stay. A lot of the island is at sea, which means that the beaches aren’t always what you’d expect. There are beautiful villas for honeymooners and bigger villas for families at the Xanadu and White Sands hotels. These villas have all the amenities one could want. But Zuri has the best beach of all the hotels. Since the tide doesn’t come in or out here, you can spend all day lying on the white sand or playing around in the water. The many swimming clubs and bars are also great places to pass the time during the day.
