We love Kleins Campe’s location; it’s high up on a hill with great views of the Serengeti ecosystem. You could spend hours looking around with binoculars, trying to spot some of the animals that live in the Serengeti. Kleins has some of the best service and guides in Tanzania. This shouldn’t be a surprise since it is owned and run by &Beyond.

In the north of Tanzania, just outside of Serengeti National Park. Light planes can fly into Lobo airstrip every day from Arusha and other tourist spots in North Tanzania, which is the best way to get to the camp.

Klein’s owns the land right next to the lodge, which is great for bush walks and seeing wildlife in peace. There won’t be many people here, so you can see things up close and personally. With views of the Serengeti safari fields and hills in this part of the Serengeti/Loliondo, the camp is set on top of a hill.

The lodge’s main room is made of stone and has an open, wooden roof and sides. This way, you can always enjoy the view. The place has more of the feel of a fixed lodge than a tent camp, which is more common in the Serengeti. In the middle of the lodge, there is a great eating area and bar where you can meet with your guide to talk about your activities and sights.

This is our choice for a vacation that will be unlike any other. The 10 stone and thatched cottages are spread out fairly on the hillside. They all have great views, classic furniture, and a cozy, homey feel. Since Klein’s is just outside the Serengeti Park line, it is a great place to go on safari.

You can go on night drives, bush walks, and game drives in the Serengeti from the camp’s reserve area. A day trip to Ololosokwan is a nice extra opportunity for people who want to see a town and learn about Masaai culture.

It is important to make the most of the private land and the extra activities that are allowed there while staying at Klien’s. That’s why it’s suggested that you combine your stay with a camp in the Serengeti. The mobile tented camp run by &Beyond is the nicest in the Serengeti so that they can provide the best guides, service, and accommodation. Besides staying at different camps in the Serengeti, most people who visit Northern Tanzania spend at least two nights in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Beyond’s Crater Lodge is the best place to start your trip. Other places aren’t quite like it. It’s only necessary to stay here for up to two nights. You won’t need more than one day in the Crater, and an afternoon of rest at the Crater Lodge will get you ready for your journey through the Serengeti.
