Blue Bay | Zanzibar Beach Resort. When you’re looking for a cheaper big hotel, Blue Bay Resort is a great choice. This hotel is big, but it has everything you need, and the rooms are pretty nice for how cheap they are. Most big, cheap hotels are known to be bad, but the Blue Bay Resort is great if you’re not expecting the world. Even though it’s a little more expensive and not as big, we like Breezes Beach Club better and think it’s worth the extra money.

What You Need to Know About Blue Bay

The Blue Bay Resort is in Kiwengwa, which is on the east side of Zanzibar. It is about a 45-minute drive from Stone Town and the airport.

There are different places of the resort where people can hang out together. The plan is made up of the four restaurants: Makuti, Pool Bar, Beach Bar and Grill, and Bahari Grill. You walk through nicely decorated gardens to get to these, which are spread out across different parts of the land. The pool is a good size and has deck chairs and covers for use. The lodge is fine for vacations in Tanzania, but it’s great for meetings because it has a business center that’s open 24 hours a day.

There are four types of rooms: Garden, Superior, Junior Suites, and Sultan Suites. There is a good range of room quality between the different room types. There are three blocks of Garden and Superior rooms next to each other. We’d rather not suggest the Garden rooms. The best rooms are the Junior suites and the Sultans suites. The Sultans suite is 100 square meters and is the largest. There is air conditioning, satellite TV, a hair dryer, a ceiling fan, and a balcony in every room. All of them are warm and inviting.

There is a center for activities like scuba diving, trips, water sports for fun, and fishing for big game. There is also a health center and a club for kids. When you go on safari and vacation in Tanzania, this would work well.
