Fumba Beach Lodge. Stone Town is not far from Fumba Beach Lodge, which is on the west side of Zanzibar. The beach lodge has a nice main area and a pool. The grounds are especially beautiful and full of color. Fumba Beach isn’t as nice as other beaches on Zanzibar, which is a shame. We definitely think that people should choose a suite because they have easy access to the sea.

What You Need to Know About Fumba Beach Lodge

This lodge is on Zanzibar’s west coast, just south of Stone Town, which is the island’s city.

A garden of beautiful, rare flowers greets you as you drive up to this private beach house. In fact, the main area is very nice and quiet. There is a lounge area around the swimming pool, which is right at the end of their beach.

The rooms are split down the middle and are very big. These homes are very cozy and have a nice porch in front and a roof deck. All of them are very private, and the beach is only a short distance away. However, Fumba’s beach is not as nice as beaches in other parts of the island. It’s still fine for a quick swim. But they do have a great dive center, and the snorkeling is great.

It’s not the best restaurant in Zanzibar, but it tries to please everyone.

In general, the lodge isn’t bad, but we believe there are better wedding spots on the island that cost about the same.
