Fundu Lagoon Lodge. The lodge at Fundu Lagoon is a great place to dive and swim. It has some great dive spots and is known for having very healthy corals. It’s also great for weddings, but you might have trouble finding a good beach! The tides come in and out a lot, and there isn’t a white beach like on Zanzibar. Even though there isn’t a beach, the cabin and all-inclusive rate more than make up for it. The rooms are tents, and the high prices are not worth it unless you stay in one of the suites or special suites.

This beautiful lagoon is on the west side of Pemba Island, which is just a 35-minute flight north of Zanzibar. There is a 45-minute drive to the camp and a 10-minute speed boat ride to get there. It’s a little out of the way for most Tanzania vacations, but the land is beautiful once you get there.

The main area is made of wood and is raised to follow the natural slope of the coast. The main restaurant is to one side of the bar, which takes up most of the top central area. By the bar, there is a small area with pillows and bean bags that is hidden. In a nearby unit, there is a TV room with a pool table. On the other side of the land, there is a huge pool with a restaurant that is famous for its happy hour drinks. On the lodge side of the very long pier, there is also a bar where you can enjoy the sunset.

The lodge is set up in a line, with two layers of rooms that run down the beach. But there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. They all have big beds, nice bathrooms, and fans. The rooms on the hill are behind the rooms on the beach.

They are made of tents and have a small porch with a view of the water. Each room has its own private plunge pool and a sala with a minibar outside. There is a beach suite and a jungle suite. When it comes to rooms, the special suites are the best. They are huge, two-story wooden buildings with great private outdoor space.
