This camp is always there. It is at the base of the Ngorongoro highland forest, not in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The area makes it easy to get to the crater and Lake Manyara. Being close to Karatu also makes it possible to visit the local shops and see the culture.

There are 18 large houses with canopy beds that have mosquito nets built in and big windows that let in lots of light and cool breezes.
