Lake Manyara Ranch: The Facts

Manyara Ranch is located in a private onservancy that takes up much of the territory between Tarangire and Manyara National Parks. Tarangire’s northern edge is less than 5 kilometers distant, while Manyara Park is across the lake to the west, accessible via Mto wa Mbu.

The eight large and comfortable tents are built up in the typical “East-African-Style” safari camp, with excellent views of a watering well. Each tent is outfitted with handcrafted furniture and attractively adorned in warm tones.

When you stay here, you will have exclusive access to the Conservancy. No other safari operator has access to this unspoiled area, as opposed to National Parks, which can get crowded.

Elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and cheetahs are just a few of the more than 50 species of mammals that can be seen here all year. Over 350 bird species can also be found here. In addition to local fauna, migrating herds travel through the Conservancy on their route to and from Tarangire National Park.
