Naona Moru Camp: The Facts

The 11 rooms offer a home away from home, with vivid design and breathtaking views of this beautiful section of the Serengeti. Each tent features a huge four-poster bed, wood accents, outdoor chairs, and an internal sitting space. Of course, each room has an ensuite.

As is typical of Nasikia Camp, you’re under canvas; not in a stuffy, tight tent, but in a light-filled suite to remember. Each tent’s spaciousness also allows for the addition of extra beds in family circumstances.

This part of the Serengeti is ideal for year-round wildlife. It’s a 40-minute drive west from Seronera, the main Serengeti hub with its notable wildlife concentrations, yet far enough away to avoid being plagued by a large number of other vehicles. It has excellent concentrations of predators, antelope, elephants, and everything in between (as one would anticipate on a Serengeti safari).

Visitors to this area may have the opportunity to observe the Great Wildebeest Migration pass through between June and November. If this is on your bucket list but the herds are too far away to spot on a morning game drive, rent a private car and go on an adventure with your guide and a packed lunch to find them.

Walking safaris are also offered here, and travelers can take a hot air balloon flight to view the wide plains from above.
