It’s been around for a while and now has a nice pool, making it one of the best places to stay on the island. The cabin is very relaxing and quiet, and it’s a good place to stay if you want to go diving in the nearby Mafia Marine Park.

Pole Pole is on the island of Mafia in the Indian Ocean. It’s only a short ride from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar. The island is much farther away than Zanzibar, and most of the shoreline is made up of mangroves. There are a few small sandy beaches that stick out. Mafia is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy great diving while staying in pretty basic places. It’s a real different kind of beach vacation in Tanzania.

The dining area is a wooden platform on stilts that is raised above the water near the edge of the lake. The food is usually very good since it is Italian.

They have boats for trips, fishing, and snorkeling, but no places to dive. But diving can be set up from the house next door.
